Product Information

Bali Blue (or Bali Blue Moon) is a single-origin, medium-to-dark roast coffee from the volcanic Kintamani Highlands of Bali, Indonesia. Known for its full body and naturally low acidity, it features rich tasting notes of dark baker's chocolate, molasses, and baking spices

  • Roast: Med-dark
  • Tasting Profile: Dark chocolate, molasses, brown sugar
  • Grower: Smallholder farmers from Kintamani
  • Variety: Bourbon, Typica, Catimor
  • Region: Kintamani, Bali, Indonesia
  • Altitude: 1200-1600 M
  • Soil Type: Volcanic Loam
  • Process: Hand picked, wet-hulled and dried on raised beds.

Product Description: Key Characteristics

  • Origin: Grown by smallholder farmers in mineral-rich volcanic soil using sustainable, traditional cooperative methods (Subak Abian).
  • Processing: Uses the traditional Indonesian wet-hulling (Giling Basah) method, which removes the coffee's outer skin while the parchment is still wet, resulting in its signature deep, heavy body and gentle acidity.
  • Flavor Profile: Highly regarded for a syrupy mouthfeel and flavor notes that often include dark chocolate, brown sugar, vanilla, and hints of fruit or citrus.

Product Detail: Best Brewing Methods

Because of its bold, heavy body and lack of sharp acidity, Bali Blue is an excellent, versatile bean. It performs exceptionally well as:
  • French Press: Extracts the coffee's rich, syrupy.
  • Cold Brew: Yields a naturally sweet and exceptionally smooth concentrate.
  • Espresso: Produces a thick, dessert-friendly crema with strong chocolate notes
